I would like to take a moment to talk about a caring and motivated mortgage planner. Chris Goodman worked with me to find an amazing home loan with competitively-priced costs and rate. Through much jumping through hoops (it was a foreclosure – need I say more?), we closed in an extremely timely manner. My goal from the beginning was to close on May 14th, a goal set only because it happened to land on my birthday. Chris was caring about this symbolic goal and did all he could to make sure it was made a reality. In fact, it all happened so fast, thanks to Chris and Dianne, that it was a “close at the seat of your pants” type of day. We were unsure if it was going to happen, but thanks to a dedicated mortgage professional in Chris – we did!
Chris was very knowledgeable of the process and helped guide me through a very tedious and long process. One of the things that impressed me most was that he was never said “I do not know.” I can appreciate this as I am in the business as well and frankly asked some tough questions that I was unsure of myself. Chris always took the time to carefully examine my situation, listened intently and provided clear and understandable answers. As far as closing on time, I no doubt brought Chris to the point of pulling his hair out through daily phone calls and emails. However, at no point did he falter in professionalism and enthusiasm.
This is all fine and good, but the main reason for this letter is to ensure you are aware of how Chris goes above and beyond the call of duty. At some points during the process we ran across some road blocks. Either by title, bank, real estate agent, Chris always was confident of the tasks that needed to be accomplished and how to get it done. Had chance dealt me another card, and I not had Chris as a mortgage planner I likely would not have closed on time, and doubt I would have received the very competitive program I am in.
